Interesting Thoughts # 1

Hey bros, whatsup!

Anywho, I've decided to change things up a little bit and post about something beyond simply updates. These are various things I noticed or others noticed about the DBZ series that don't get a lot of attention. I'm planning on doing a few of these, so hopefully you'll find them quite cool!

1. Majin Buu = Kid Buu/Good Kai

This is a pretty well known DBZ fact among the Dragonball universe, that the current Majin Buu was formed by the combination of Kid Buu and one of the Kais. What few people realize is the exact implications this has, and by implications I mean the death of Kid Buu.

See this is something I'm not sure everyone realizes. Most people go under the assumption that Kid Buu died in the fight against Goku, but don't notice one major flaw in the event, and that is...Majin Buu.

Since Majin Buu is the combination of the Kai, it would make complete sense if he turned into Kid Buu by rejecting the good Kai from his body and thus be completely whole...but that's not what happens! Kid Buu is formed by rejecting the good Buu out of Super Buu's body...why???

And there's one more big mystery that also gets revealed in our favorite game, DBOR. In DBOR, all Majins have the potential to become "Pure Buu", which is essentially the exact same as Kid Buu. Once again, in a way this doesn't make sense, as he died a long time ago, and all that was left was the good Majin. Why?

Well, I have an interesting theory that came to me recently, and I think it's worth considering. See, this whole mess begins when we assume that Kid Buu is a separate entity from Majin Buu, but if what if they are still the same character?

Here's my opinion on Kid Buu. Buu is an interesting creature that is completely defined by emotion. Each version of Buu has a very distinct personality: Majin Buu reprenting the desire for entertainment, Evil Buu with malicious intent, Super Buu with an obsession over power, and Kid Buu, a being of pure rage. Pure rage...that sound familiar to something?

It is my opinion that Kid Buu is not really a separate being from Majin Buu, but rather a physical representation of his emotions. As the story goes on, Buu gets angrier and angerier until he finally turns into Kid Buu. The Evil Buu eating Majin Buu was actually Buu trying to seal away his good feelings and positive attitude in order to become angry. Eventually, through complete accident, instead of simply being buried, the positivity was completely removed from Buu, and all that remained was the pure rage in the form of Kid Buu.

So what does this mean? Well, we all know that Kid Buu was in fact destroyed by the Spirit Bomb...but this new info changes the whole concept around this event. It was not the destruction of the demon Buu, but rather the destruction of his rage. It's kind of like punching something to relieve stress, a way in which frustration is removed through the act of violence.

What this means is that KID BUU NEVER DIES. Yes, the anger Buu has is destroyed, but the fact that Majin Buu still exists means Kid Buu does as well. The combination of the two is the combination of good and evil, making the original Kid Buu which was only pure rage have the potential to be happy and a desire to do good. The reason Kid Buu appeared was because he managed to put aside the Kai for awhile to reveal his old self, but he never died. All that would need to happen is for Majin Buu to have complete rage, and he could turn back into Kid Buu again, almost like a Super Saiyan.

Now for the obvious question that results...why doesn't he? There's no record of Kid Buu threatening anyone again, so wouldn't that stop this theory in it's tracks? Actually, it goes perfectly with this theory! Remember, Buu anger and stress that had built up through the command of Badi-whatever and constantly fighting tough people was destroyed. At the end of DBZ we have a calm and composed Buu. After DBZ, we find out that Buu becomes popular among the human race, and that it affects Buu, suggesting to the fact that Buu becomes even more of a good person. Instead of being treated like a slave and being put in stressful situations, he's being treated like a celebrity, so Buu has no reason to get that enraged.

This also explains why it's so hard to become Kid Buu in DBOR! Majins are listed as a peaceful, jolly, and relaxed race, so it appears that they're mainly a happy people.

By this point the natural anger of Kid Buu has been so supressed thanks to the positivity of Humans and fellow Majins over time, that it takes a lot to bring that rage out! In fact, it's so suppressed that it literally takes the Dragonballs to do so!

But anyways, that's "just a theory"...HA!!!!....anyone else get that referrence.?
